HCPCS modifier lookup

Modifiers are two characters appended to a procedure code to say something the code alone cannot: which side of the body, who supervised, whether a service was reduced or repeated.

They come from the same CMS quarterly file as the Level II codes, so they carry the same release date and the same source.

We do not display CPT codes. Level I is owned by the American Medical Association and requires a paid licence. Everything on this site is public domain or free to use.
