Nothing on this site is scraped from another site. Every dataset is imported directly from the body that publishes it, and every page shows the date of that import.

This table is generated from the same records the tools read, so it cannot drift out of step with what is actually loaded.

What "imported" means

It is the date we last ran the import, not the date the publisher last revised the file. If CMS released an update yesterday and we import monthly, our date is older than theirs. That is exactly why we show ours rather than theirs.

Update cadence

• HCPCS Level II is republished by CMS every quarter. Codes are added, retired and reworded each time.
• NPPES ships a full replacement monthly, plus weekly increments. We import the monthly file.
• Place of Service changes rarely, every few years.
• NUCC taxonomy is revised twice a year.

Retired records stay visible

Discontinued codes and deactivated NPIs are kept and marked, never deleted. Someone searching for a code they used last year needs to know it was retired and when. A blank page answers nothing.

What is not here

CPT. Level I procedure codes belong to the American Medical Association and require a paid licence per user. They are not on this site.

The same applies to CDT dental codes (ADA) and DSM-5 criteria (APA). Everything published here is public domain or free to use, which is also why it can be free to you.
